One of our biggest concerns was always been able to scale upwards. It seems this is luckily not the case with our project. In order to make sure that eGov services work under many different platforms and browsers (also different versions of browsers since the release cycle is high) we need to be able to quickly add a new virtual machine for testing. This week Fedora was added to the setup and it was painless. The only thing that was needed besides the obvious new virtual machine was a conf file containing the machine name and IP address. Once the SSH public key setup was complete, adding the new job to cron was easy.
So now we have Fedora 19 running our Selenium tests on the local eGov site.
In addition results are being generated and can be found at: http://results.testingmachine.eu/logs
