The project FSCRS is endorsed by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano in the Operational Plan 2007-2013 of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)and is maintained by the Free Software and Open Technologies team of the Tis innovation park.
The European Regional Development Fund is a structural fund which aims to promote economic and social cohesion of the European Union by correcting the main regional imbalances and participating in the development and conversion of regions. Access to the ERDF for regions wishing to develop projects in the areas: Convergence (Objective 1); Regional Competitiveness and Employment (Objective 2), European territorial cooperation (Objective 3).

The Department of Information Technolody of the Autonomous Province of South Tyrol is responsible for the provincial administration of computer science infrastructure (hardware, software, networks) and ensures the proper functioning of the information systems and provides technical support to all its divisions including that of schoold and day-care centers in the province.
The project FSCRS is suported by the Department of Information Technology by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
The TIS innovation park sees itself both as a centre as well as a driving force for innovation, cooperation and transfer of technologies for all stakeholders in innovation, but above all, for individual companies. In particular the TIS innovation park provides an area for economic development and stability through innovation, cooperation and transfer of technologies, acts as a center for those pioneering innovation and combines the economy with science.
The Free Software and Open Technolgies team of the TIS innovation park is responsible for the operation of the FSCRS project.
The Linux User Group of Bolzano is a community that brings together Free Software users in the province of South Tyrol. The LUGBZ is an association that has been operating since 2001 whose purpose is to actively contribute in spreading the word about GNU/Linux and Free Software. The association's activities take place locally where meetings and conferences are organized on a regular basis.
The Linux User Group volunatrily contributes towards the FSCRS project.
